Ignore your job title.
As a person who just changed careers from paid search engine advertising (now my freelance gig) to going back to school for graphic design, I could not appreciate Alissa’s advice enough! Thanks for the inspiration!

Great advice Alissa. So many young designers think of what they do in such narrow terms, which usually includes sitting behind a computer designing logos and websites. But creativity and problem solving can lead to infinite other job possibilities.
