Become a problem finder, a problem explorer.
Great point, Cameron! I think as designers it sometimes becomes easy to forget that the purpose of our projects is often less about making something look good and more about solving a problem. Thanks for putting that back into perspective for us!
This is it. Totally true, Thank you.
I love this point Cameron. It’s very true that many even more seasoned designers get caught up in a bit of the details and forget that they are there to find and explore problems. This really is a huge value we bring to the business world.
Also, this website is a great idea. Love the simple yet very visual format.
Good points but overshadowed by the condenser mic and pop filter. It’s video chat, it’s a little much isn’t it?
I agree with Cameron’s suggestion to re-think the need and where most problems (needing solutions) are not fully formed. In most instances problems (needing solutions) require a discovery phase — where the full scope is explored and recognized and where that discover acts as a catalyst for problem solving.
