“Low brow” indeed! To which I would add “creepy in a sweet way,” or maybe “playfully affrontive…” A unique voice. Carry on, Grant!
The term “lowbrow” is funny…but I think it works with Grant’s work…in a good way!
I am still in school, so I feel like I am still working on finding my voice. I do know that trusting your intuition and being confident are HUGE factors when making creative work. I would love to hear from more illustrators on Humble Pied!
