Get a life. (In the nicest way possible.)
I’m a firm believer in the “get a life” philosophy. Great advice!
Sage advice. Life and balance are definitely important in being a complete person and good designer. Nice post.
This is great advice. It will appeal to everybody because it isn’t prescribing something specific, it’s open-ended. Get a life could mean, go to the gym, for others it could mean bake a cake. Fantastic advice regardless of your career.
Steve truly lives the RDQLUS life–personally and professionally, he follows his passions, seeks beauty and creates truly insightful designs. I have benefited tremendously and am severiously proud of my brand, thanks to him. Go get rdqlus, people, NOW.
GREAT advice…and, coincidentally it’s just what I needed to hear.
Thanks Steve and Mig,
G
I totally agree with Mr. Gordon. The more interestes you have outside of the design profession will only enhance your ability to create at fantastic levels. The more deeply you pour yourself into those interests, the better equipped you will be to serve your clients business goals.
I know Steve’s voice thanks to 36 point guys who love him.
So do I — beautiful way of talking.
All the best!

Wow. I’m humbled, truly. Thank you all for hearing, listening (which is different) and getting where I was going. I’m seriously a little wet-eyed reading thru your words. Thank you. Just the lift I needed today.
All the best,
Stevie G.
